In a significant step towards strengthening Egypt’s industrial sector, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly recently visited Alex Apparels.
Dr. Madbouly’s inspection tour was accompanied by Eng. Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport; Eng. Hassan El-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade; Lt. Gen. Ahmed Khaled Hassan Saeed, Governor of Alexandria; and Mr. Hossam Heiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, along with several executive leaders from the governorate.
During the visit, Mr. Ehab Mohie El-Din, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alex Apparels, took the opportunity to share the company’s journey of success. Established 29 years ago, Alex Apparels has become a cornerstone of Egypt’s garment manufacturing industry. Specializing in labor-intensive ready-made garment production, the company has grown to become the largest exporter of ready-made garments.
This milestone highlights the company’s pivotal role in Egypt’s industrial landscape and its contribution to both the local economy and international trade.
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly has got a firsthand look at the factory’s operations. He toured various stages of production, gaining insight into the factory’s workflow efficiency, technological advancements, and operational excellence.
